Owed To Bella

I use the word owed deliberatley. The time came for us to get a new car. By the time Bella left us, we owed her a new driver side wing mirror, some new brake pads, a new exhaust clip, a new headlight and a new passenger hand grip. So, owed is definatley the word to use.

We got a new car. We have a Rover 418 SLD Turbo. Not the one in the picture. Ours is silver in colour. I have decided to name her Shirley

Manea Maize Maze Madness

So, yesterday (Tues 06 Nov 07) we headed out to Manea [the outskirts of March] to go to the Maize maze. It was Jamie, Me & the 2 Missionaries. It was quite the experience. Here are some pictures from the maze.

Weird Goings On

Let me start this by saying that I am a little ticked off as I write this. You will see why from the post.

I woke up at 2:45 to use the toilet. I then went and checked my email on my PC. Well, in the middle of doing this, the power went off. It was only for a minute or so. It was rather annoying as I didn’t have 2 weeks to wait for my PC to get back to life. Luckily for me though, it wasn’t just us. It was the whole town. I looked out my window and there were no lights on at all.

I then went to bed, and that is when it started… the house alarms. Alarm 1… Alarm 2… Alarm 3 Alarm 4 Alarm 5! How this ticked me off. I tried as hard as I could to get back to sleep. No such luck, flippin alarms. After what seemed to be a life time, they started to stop. Alarm 1… Alarm 2… Alarm 3… Alarm 4…. Alarm – no such luck, not just yet… Alarm 5. Finally. It stopped. Needn’t have bothered though. Day was pretty much ready to break. To top it all off, it went deadly silent and I had to look over and make sure that Jamie was still alive. She has a cold, so I was worried when I couldn’t hear the snoring.

We also headed out to Peterborough to the Cathedral. It’s a nice cathedral, but not as nice as Ely Cathedral is. Although, in Peterborough Cathedral, Catherine of Aragon is buried here and it is the former buriel place of Mary, Queen of Scots.

That was pretty much the extent of our day. Now we are just awaiting the church meetings that are happening tonight. PEC and Branch Council.

On a side note, I took the quiz below and look what it told me

Yet Another Update

So, i’ve not written since November. A lot has happened since then. When I say a lot, I really mean not much.

I’ve spent most of the time looking for work, but as said previously to no avail. Well, only just the other day I had an interview and have finally got a job. I am going to be working for Fenland District Council here in March.

It will be in the planning department. I don’t know what we’ll do when I have to work. Jamie will not know what to do with her time. I’ll know what to do with mine though – lots of hard work.

Our plan is to get to America as fast as possible. We are working on our visa paperwork too.

Well, hopefully i’ll be better at writing after I start work, since there’ll be so much going on from when I start.
